In July we held a summer camp session for the center's children. Forty kids, a week in the mountains, a team of mentors and volunteers — and countless moments that this work exists for.
What the program included
Every day was designed to combine rest, growth and connection:
- morning exercises and outdoor sports games
- craft workshops: drawing, modeling, handicrafts
- quests and team games that teach negotiation and trust
- evening campfires with conversations about what matters
"It was my first time at a camp. At first I was scared, and then I didn't want to go home," one of the participants shared.
Thank you
The camp happened thanks to donations from our friends and partners. Every contribution is a day of childhood for a child who needs it most right now.
Photos from the session are in the camp album.
